Sheree Commerford has plenty of attributes to envy. Apart from having the looks that stop traffic, Sheree is the founder and designer of Australian fashion label Woodford and Co. Not many designers have the advantage of having the look to match their fashion labels image, let alone the look and image to model their own range.

Woodford and Co is a womens fashion label that draws influence from the country to the coast. The name Woodford came about from the namesake small island in North New South Wales where Sheree grew up. The Woodford & Co styling reflects elements of mens tailoring crossed with a preppy clean-cut image. The result is an ever growing boutique fashion label with an ever-growing reputation for quality in design, aesthetic and execution.

Sheree noted in an interview with Vogue that her label would be best represented by modern day acting icons Kirsten Dunst, Marion Cotillard and French singer/actress Vanessa Paradis.

“Besides being my modern day icons they just have an effortless style, they don’t try, their style is truly from within. That is the Woodford woman to me.”

Sheree herself admires many Australian fashion designers including Sass and Bide girls Sarah-Jane and Heidi, One Teaspoon founder Jamie Blakely, as well as international fashionistas Karl Largerfeld, Coco Chanel, Ralph Lauren, YSL and Raf Simons for Jil Sander.
