mens & womens leather jackets give off the most mixed fashion signals ever. What i mean is that you can look like a complete dag/hag wearing a leather jacket, or you can look like the coolest kid in the room. leather jackets do not look good on every average jo or jane. it comes down to the fact that certain pple can pull of certain fashion looks. leather is certainly not a generic fashion item like a pair of jeans.

good post but what about tan leather jackets or white leather jackets? are no aussie fashion labels pulling out other colours other than the black leather option? i'm also a big fan of the suede leather jacket.

also forgot to mention, a hot look at the moment is definately hooded leather jackets. i think it adds a nice modern edge to the classic style vintage jacket. not sure what everyone elses thoughts are but hoods all the way

mens leather jackets have and will always be a fashion statement, particularly the leather bomber jacket or biker jacket - it shows us who the tough guy in movie is - i.e john travolta in grease, fonzie from happy days, and arnie from terminator!

good of fashion review to feature this article - there is actually a feature in this months Australian GQ magazine about leather jackets, although they fail to mention any Australian fashion labels that have them in their collection. definately a cool thing at the moment, it should never go out of fashion - leather jackets for both men and women should be a wardrobe staple.

This is the first article i've seen reporting on the sudden influx of fashionistas wearing vintage leather jackets. Over the weekend i was honestly suprised to see so many guys and girls wearing leather jackets with tight black skinny leg jeans and pointy leather shoes. it seems like a part-grunge part-punk part emo fashion look with leather jackets is definately in. Thanks for the post fashion review!
