Following on from the success of their debut collection, Ruby Sees All present their first Spring/Summer 2013 collection that balances cool, striking modernity with wearable feminine pieces for every woman.
Prints command attention and provide a focus, while a neutral colour palette is contrasted with emerald and fluoro orange, sophisticated pastels and metallic accents. Textiles and textures are a luxe combination of thick stretch ponti, honeycomb mesh, sequins, studs contrasted with flowing silks, lattice printed sheer organza, soft knits and a cotton jersey. Supple leather is key and is worked into sporty shorts, a track-inspired pant, biker vests, envelope skirts and overalls, and it also appears as detail on tees, long lapels on blazers and as a trim down a pair of tuxedo pants.
Dresses are either easy-to-wear swing shifts through to clean, contemporary body con dresses that flatter with either optical illusion panels or sexy cutouts across the shoulder blades. The label’s best-selling bandage mesh dress is reinvented this season with capped leather sleeves. Androgynous pieces are worked in for the creative woman who loves nothing more than throwing on a tee or tank, with a great long line blazer and skinny pant.
The Ruby Sees All Spring/Summer 2013 collection hits stores this month.
