Collection: Autumn/Winter 2011 – ‘First Snowfall in Montreal’

Menswear label Orri Henrisson chalks up another first in the Australian blogosphere with their innovative Winter 2011 campaign.

Shot by the talented Xiaohan Shen, a photographer and street style blogger, this is the second time designer Henry Ng has collaborated with a fashion blogger. Shen’s attention to details and keen awareness has encapsulated the uncompromising philosophy of Ng’s designs and vision.

The campaign was shot on location to mirror Ng’s lines of aesthetic interest and has been finished with post-production to reflect the muted colours and features of the collection.

The campaign stars female model, Genevieve Welsh, and demonstrates the brilliance of Ng as a designer and forward thinker and reflects the versatility of Orri Henrisson’s designs.

The campaign challenges the gender divide in fashion without sacrificing the masculine nature of Ng’s designs. Ng’s label has been called ‘one of the most promising emerging menswear designers in the country’ and with a number of high-profile stockists placing orders for his collection, things are about to get a whole lot more promising.
