Maise – Women’s Clothing & Fashion
Maise Designer Womens ClothingAustralian boutique women’s fashion label Maise was founded by clothing designer Claire Greaves in 2006. Claire began her career at the internationally renowned Top Shop. This influential period enabled her to strike out on her own when she returned to Australia – and so began Maise in 2006, the name ‘Maise’ stemming from a childhood nickname. Described as effortless and unpretentious , Miase contrasts like black and white. A foot in tailoring and another in street style, taking extremes and pushing them together – masculine and feminine, tailored and street, dark and sweet. The first Maise clothing collection was built around signature denim pieces. The following seasons will see the progression of an expanding fashion line on top of the ever-popular denim jeans range. Although still young in the fashion world, Maise has been featured in glossy publications including Australian Vogue, In Style, Madison, Marie Claire, US Nylon, Sportswear Int. Cookie and Glamcult Paris, and The Melbourne Magazine. Maise has also already been hailed a fashion label to watch, with features in Frankie, pagesonline, The Cool Hunter and Russh. We quote ipaper – “Australian are just getting it right with regards to the denim department, ie: Sass & Bide, 18th Amendment, Ksubi and now Maise” And Russh – “Maise looks set to keep on growing” Visit Maise for more details – www.maiselabel.com.au Check out other recent fashion profilesOne Response to “Maise – Women’s Clothing & Fashion”
