Cult Australian streetwear brand, Ksubi was founded in 2000 by surfer chums Dan Single, George Gorrow and Gareth Moody, rapidly becoming known for their urban aesthetic and distressed denim. However, the brand is not only recognised for their contemporary menswear and womenswear, they are also now well known for their uber cool range of eyewear. Most recently, Ksubi Eyewear teamed up with world renowned designer Richard Nicoll to create a directional limited edition capsule collection of sunglasses. The instantly popular collaboration from Ksubi Eyewear for the Summer 2012 season is based on Henri George’s Clouzot’s unfinished 1966 ‘Masterpiece L’enfer’.
The limited edition collection from Ksubi Eyewear X Richard Nicoll consists of some seriously eye catching pieces – glossy acetate frames with metallic outlined lenses, as well as super polished metallic frames that give a chrome effect making then indistinguishable from their futuristic silver mirrored lenses…One thing is for certain these frames are not for the fashion faint of heart. So without further ado we present the sunglasses capsule collection from Ksubi Eyewear X Richard Nicoll, available to purchase from our friends at Eyegoodies.com.
