The latest 2010/2011 Jewellery collection for men and women titled ‘Cruce Signati’ Cruce Signati is latin for ‘marked with a cross’. Throughout history, the adornment of a cross was seen as a symbolic conformity within the institute of religion.
During the 70’s and 80’s, the Punk scene was drawn to the idealism of organised religion and in their desire to destroy authoritarian ideologies they made the cross their own, turning it into a non-conformist rebellious symbol of youth, and cultural revolt.
This was our inspiration. To design a collection based around the cross, void of any religious attachments and to pay homage to the Punk rebellion.
