Founding designer of Hussy clothing label, Marie Hatzis has a resume worth more than just a simple mention. In addition to the core fashion designer expectations of ambition and drive, Marie Hatzis has innovation and business smarts, which is why she was voted in the BRW Top Fifty Women Entreprenuers List and nominated for the Telstra Business Women of the Year award. Furthermore, Marie won the National Business Award at the Australian Business Awards.

Hussy began back in the mid-1990’s when Marie had $2,000 and a 21 year olds dream to create the Hussy fashion empire. Over a decade on and Hussy clothing label is stronger than ever with presence across every major fashion continent. Hussy clothing has become an international fashion brand, stemming to eleven countries, and over 120 retailers. From David Jones in Australia, Fred Segal in the US, Villa Moda in the Middle East, and Mahna Mahna in Japan, Hussy has truly established itself as a global womens fashion label.

In Australia, Hussy has flagship stores in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Most recently, Marie opened a flagship store in Bali’s uber-cool district Seminyak.
