Words by For Tomorrow Esconde’ is a short film set in an abstract environment, as a man and woman are trapped in a dream. The man and woman are Josh Oliver and Stephanie Carta respectively, with young versions of themselves also appearing in this dream like sequence. It turns out the fantasy is just that – all a figment of the children’s imaginations during a game of hide and seek, as they imagine themselves as adults it’s their innocence that keeps them apart. The location of Sydney’s Bare Island off Botany Bay is the perfect setting for this film, bringing a sense of displacement from the rest of the world. The unique storyline was created by an award winning team Director Giovanni Pacialeo and Producer Paul Sullivan from {Vigilanti at Benchmark Films} to represent this collection in a new and exciting way for fashion designer Fernando Frisoni, which was definitely successful. In a time where simple look books are becoming redundant it’s interesting to see what everyone comes up with for a point of difference. The film was photographed by esteemed cinematographer Damian Wyvill.
