Since Kym Ellery Launched her namesake womenswear label, ‘Ellery’ she has been known for her keen eye for contemporary fashion and avant-garde inspiration, which has seen her collection appear in editorial features in some of the finest fashion magazines. With the brand’s stunning Autumn/Winter 2012 campaign, lookbook and collection, we expect the fun of editorial features to continue for Ellery. With fashion forward silhouettes, high-shine futuristic fabrics and dramatic leg splits, the Ellery Autumn/Winter 2012 collection is accessible avant-garde fashion at its finest. The collections manages to cover the hottest international trends, of over-sized tailoring, pleplums, split-leg and wrap skirts and contrasting panels, yet still remains fresh and innovative. The colour palette is reminiscent of a island beach, with sandy shades, azure hues of shallow tropical waters and sunny metallic gold, interspersed with darker pebble tones of slate grey and black. The Autumn/Winter offering features kick-flare trousers, long-line boyfriend tailored jackets, cigarette trousers with turn-ups, dresses in a variety of lengths and silhouettes, and lots of lace embellishment. Stand out pieces of the collection include a white leather over-sized biker jacket with contrasting black sleeves; a floor length kimono style dress in azure blue; a strapless maxi dress gown, with pleplum waist in metallic gold; a nude maxi skirt with dramatic thigh high slits; and a pair of black trousers with exaggerated flares. So without further ado we present the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection from Ellery…Enjoy!
