About Colab Eyewear

Colab Eyewear Sunglasses Logo

Colab Eyewear (short for Collaboration or as they call it, ‘Colobaratory’) makes f**king cool sunglasses! The Colab Eyewear range brings to life the optical creations of from a selection of individual designers and artists. Each of the artists creates a series of sunglasses, whereby Colab Eyewear brings the creations to life in the ‘Colaboratory’ by releasing limited edition sunglasses. Infact, each and every model is limited to only 1000 pairs worldwide.I have to admit that I have a fetish for sunnies – Colab Eyewear undoubtedly satisfies my fetish by releasing cutting edge designs with (and I quote) “no constraint, no rules to follow, no target market to appease”. With such a hardy missions statement, how can such a rebellious cool label not have global followers! Colab Eyewear is already stocked throughout the globe, and I mean the entire world including Australia, Europe, USA, Canada, Japan and the UK.

I would have to rate Colab Eyewear up with the likes of AM Eyewear, Ksubi Eyewear

And of course, you would expect nothing else other than the highest quality materials to be used such as injection moulded nylon and acetate, and UV protected lenses.

The latest creations from Colab Eyewear has seen collaborations with the following artists:
Perks_And_Mini (Australia)
EBoy (Germany)
Geoff McFetridge (USA)
Rockin*Jellybean (Japan)
Neasden Control Centre (United Kingdom)

Each season, Colab Eyewear will invite new individuals and groups to think wild and create awesome eyewear.

The final statement is best said by the Colab boys and girls themselves:

”There is nothing as boring as fashion that is mass-produced, hashed, rehashed and just trash. We roll out a blank canvas and let our guest professors drop art with the Colab science of production.”
