Introduction to the Chelsea De Luca Jewellery Label
Queensland-born ‘Chelsea De Luca’ was a successful PR and Marketing graduate, with a lucrative career in advertising, before, in 2004, she decided to follow her dreams. Chelsea left her job in advertising and set up her namesake jewellery label – her leap of faith paid off and soon after the brand’s inception it became a firm favourite within the fashion press. Each season the Chelsea De Luca collections are regularly featured on the pages of the globe’s most prestigious fashion magazines including Australian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Elle and InStyle. In 2008, the first Chelsea De Luca flagship boutique opened in the James Street precinct in Brisbane as an ode to art-deco glamour. An online boutique soon followed, not only cementing the brand’s presence in Australian market, but also increasing the awareness of the brand in international markets. With world-wide acclaim brought with it an impressive list of celebrity clients, which includes Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Rhada Mitchell, Eve, Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Elle MacPherson, Rose Byrne and Roisin Murphry.
As of early 2012, the Chelsea de Luca jewellery label had grown to become one of Australia’s most celebrated jewellery houses. Chelsea’s commitment remains with creating collections of exquisite jewels, with her crystal encrusted creations channelling old-world glamour and the elegance of days gone by. Expect many more stunning collections season after season full of stunning trans-seasonal pieces that are not for the faint hearted. Aesthetic of the Chelsea De Luca Jewellery Label With a strong believe that accessories can make the outfit, Chelsea de Luca jewellery collections are full of old-world charm and beautiful vintage-inspired pieces that will take any outfit to another level. Inspired by the glamour from era’s gone by – the 1920’s to 1940’s – each collection starts with a specific character in mind, with their story guiding the creation of the designs. Chelsea’s charming sense of style is showcased in her pieces mixed with contemporary chic and topped off with Swarovski crystals and unique embellishments. As a self-taught designer, all of the brand’s pieces are hand-crafted to ensure the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
