For the Spring/Summer 2011-2012 collection, entitled ‘Infinite Variability’, brother and sister duo, Camilla and Marc present a modern take on old-world glamour. The starting point of the collection was a selection of different Baroque fabrics from Paris that were beautiful, yet heavy and in need of lightening up. This was done by adding injections of vibrant colours including, magenta, colbalt blue and forest green; and by using modern materials, such as neoprene (courtesy of Quiksilver). Glamour of eras gone by was represented in the opulent silhouettes of peplum skirted dresses, drop-waisted frills and sequinned bodices. A contemporary twist came through bright colour blocking, slim tailoring, wide-leg trousers and zip detailing. The collection also featured a smattering of prints, including a neon and black leopard print and a vintage-style floral and leafy print. So without further ado we present the Spring/Summer 2011-2012 colelction from Camilla and Marc…Enjoy!
