Sharp suiting, exquisite tailoring and injections of colour for the most dapper of Australian men.
Calibre is a menswear fashion label founded in 1989 by Australian designer, Gary Zecivic that is well-known for its sharp, tailored aesthetic. Quality is at the forefront of the brand’s design philosophy – all garments are created from the finest Italian and Japanese fabrics combined with intricate tailoring to give the feeling of the highest quality.
As expected, the brand continue with their top quality tailoring for the Autumm/Winter 2012 collection, entitled ‘Morning Routine’. The narrative behind the collection is as follows: “Off to work, out for the night, you never know what will happen or what floor you will land on. Going up or going down, jump in the lift and take a ride through a day in the life of the Calibre man! Regardless of the destination, the Calibre man always arrives looking sharp, tailored and the epitome of dapper!”
Colour is the driving force behind the elegant Winter collection – the brand forgoes many of the standard winter colours, adding injections of colour with shades of mustard, olive, blue and cherry, to the charcoal, grey and black. The vibrant colours feature in jacquared sweaters, fine knits, detailed shirting, slim leg trousers and military-inspired tailored coats – this is definitely a collection for those who afraid to experiment with colour.
