Arj Selvam Mens Summer Clothing & Fashion

Fashion designer new-comer Arj Selvam has recently launched his namesake boutique menswear label. Although not intially coming from a background in design or fashion, Arj has quickly found his feet to release a quality summer clothing line that draws comparison to more established labels such as Chronicles of Never, Claude Maus and Mjolk.

In a recent Australian Fashion Review exclusive interview Arj, it was noted that he was drawn to Japanese designers, as well as some of the high-end, European avant-garde fashion designers.

“I find that I appreciate designers, designing for a more mature audience. Some designers that come to mind that have inspired me in some shape or form include: Carol Christian Poell, Rick Owens, Maurizio Altieri, Maurizio Amadei, Tatsuro Horikawa of Julius, Kazuyuki Kumagai of Attachment, Ann Demeulmeester, and Yohji Yamamoto.”
