For his Spring/Summer 2011-2012 collection, entitled ‘Metal As Anything’, Alexi Freeman was inspired by his recent collaboration with jewellery designer, Tessa Blazey. The collection features a predominantly silver, grey and black colour palette and consists of Alexi’s trademark jersey separates embelished with chain and metallic foil prints. The metallic jerseys with printed fabrics are worked into elegantly draped pieces, which were juxtaposed with sleek tailoring to create a chic collection with a distinct futuristic feel.

On a final note, watch out for Alexi’s collaboration with The Australian Ballet on their production of Swan Lake, which will make its Melbourne debut in February of 2012 to celebrate the dance company’s 50th Anniversary.
